Sew

 

Bring along your own sewing machines and/or overlocker and join us to sew in a fun and social setting.  This isn’t a teaching session, it’s a social sewing session. Although, from experience, there are always lots of knowledgeable sewists on hand to help if you happen to get stuck with anything.

It’s a great opportunity to meet other like-minded sewists and to share knowledge on patterns, techniques, fabrics and life.  And of course, there will be cake!

 

What’s Included

 

For your £25 ticket cost, we’ll provide a gorgeous light filled and spacious room with ample tables and chairs for everyone.

What’s Not Included

 

• Teaching – we’ll be sewing our own makes 

• Sewing machines – although if you are travelling by public transport, or your machine is on the blink, we can offer sewing machine hire – please get in touch for more details.

Parking

 

The car park directly in front of the Rosebird Centre is privately owned and number plate recognition cameras have been installed.  Please ensure you pay if you park there to avoid a fine.  There are a number of RCH spaces, so if you get there early, you may be able to use one of those.  You’ll just need to add your registration to the machine which is inside the hall.

 

Accessibility

 

The hall is all on the ground floor including accessible toilets with easy access through wide double doors.

Surrounding area

 

We are next door to a Costa Coffee and opposite a large Waitrose Store, so plenty of options to get lunch.  We are on the outskirts of historic Stratford-upon-Avon, so if you wanted to make a full day/evening of it, there are plenty of opportunities for dinner afterwards.
